During this artifact represents my interaction with the SPSS program in research. I was able to run statistical analysis with the program
The artifact was the first research proposal which I conduct as a doctoral candidate. I practice the hypothesis, research questions, literature review, and methodology.
The artifact allows me to showcase the research process
The artifact enables me to practice the component to formulate a research proposal with its research question, design, and methodology
The artifact is an example of the differences between the two modalities creating intext citations and references along with the methodology.
The artifact was a group effort to implement the skills univariate and multivariate with a research paper with the intention to publish into a research article
The artifact was a group effort to implement the skills of qualitative methodology
I feel like I was born to be a researcher. I find myself always seeking the why, how, when, and where of things. The scholarly research allowed me to understand the process and methodology which exists to contribute to the literature in the counseling field. I have engaged in resuming synthesizing and dissemination of literature and peer review articles. I have also gotten familiarized with the research design and jargon. I gained respect for qualitative and quantitative research. I have also understood the concepts and principles to execute a research study with trustworthiness, validity, and reliability. I had some challenges understanding multivariate statistic analysis and running the SPSS software.

However, I found it very interesting and amusing to do quantitative studies. As I begin my dissertation, I have chosen a qualitative research methodology due to the power of the researcher. In qualitative research, the researcher is the main tool in interpreting the literature gaps, formulating a research question, and data analysis. Because I found these steps challenging, as a researcher, I plan to use reflexivity, trustworthiness, and memos to assert bracketing. In my opinion, I am a qualitative researcher, giving voices to the stories and narratives of participants. As a counselor educator, I would proudly instill curiosity and critical thinking in literature gaps with the blooms taxonomy.
